Jennifer Scavone, 32, was shot and killed on February 9, 2013, while driving on I-75 near Mack Avenue in Detroit. The incident occurred as she was returning home from work in Greektown. Her body was discovered in her SUV, which was still idling when a state courtesy patrol driver found her at around 3:40 a.m. Jennifer, a mother of four from Sterling Heights, was remembered for her kindness, devotion to her family, and her warm, bright smile.
