Kourtney Davis, a 23-year-old African American woman, was found dead alongside her mother, Sandra Davis, 44, and her niece, Ayva Sutton, 9, in a burned-out vehicle on Detroit’s west side. Authorities believe that Kourtney and Sandra were shot and killed, while Ayva was stabbed before their bodies were placed in the car and set on fire.
