In a heartbreaking turn of events on a Monday evening in Detroit, 21-year-old Marshae Nash and her 22-year-old boyfriend, Benson Lindsey, were killed in what police described as a targeted ambush. The shooting occurred on October 18, 2021, at a Marathon gas station on West Warren Avenue, near the Southfield Freeway. The couple was sitting in their vehicle at a gas pump when two gunmen approached and opened fire.
