Chakashen Smith, a 37-year-old mother of two from Detroit, Michigan, tragically lost her life on March 4, 2022. She was shot and killed at the MNM Motel on Eight Mile Road, located on Detroit's east side. Smith's family and friends remember her as a loving and kind person who brought light to everyone she touched. Her death has left her family devastated, especially her two children who are now without their mother.
