In the early morning hours of June 26, 2022, the life of 32-year-old Murice McKenzie, a Black/African American male from Benton Harbor, Michigan, was tragically cut short. Affectionately known as 'Reese' to his friends and family, McKenzie was discovered with a gunshot wound at the intersection of Seeley Street and Highland Avenue. Officers from the Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety responded to reports of shots fired in the area shortly after midnight and found McKenzie injured. He was ...
