In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Detroit, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet, leaving a family without a father. Isaac Boyer, a 31-year-old male, was fatally shot while sitting in a car at the intersection of Frankfort and Bishop on the city's east side on July 17, 2022. Reports from that time indicated that the shooting, which occurred around 2:00 a.m., was preceded by an argument between Boyer and an unknown assailant.
