Edmond Lamont Butler Jr., a 17-year-old from Detroit, Michigan, tragically lost his life on July 26, 2022. On that day, Detroit police responded to a reported shooting at the intersection of South Liebold and Gilroy streets. Upon arrival, they found Butler deceased in the driver's seat of his car with a gunshot wound to his head. He was subsequently transferred to the Wayne County Medical Examiner’s Office, where it was confirmed that he died from the gunshot wound.
