On December 1, 2010, Brian Stuckey, aged 29, was killed in a shooting at a Detroit gas station located at Seven Mile Road and Rutherford Street. The incident occurred during an attempted carjacking. Stuckey, a father of four young children, was confronted by two individuals who demanded his car keys. When he couldn't produce them, he was fatally shot.
