In the early morning hours of October 11, 2022, the body of 25-year-old Michael Moore, a Black male, was discovered inside his vehicle in Detroit, Michigan. The car was located in the 20000 block of Orleans near East Winchester, just south of Eight Mile Road. Responding to a call at approximately 3:28 a.m., authorities found that Moore had been shot multiple times.
His death was subsequently ruled a homicide.
The circumstances leading to the fatal shooting remain unclear, and the investigation into his death is ongoing. As of early 2023, no arrests had been made in connection with the murder, and no suspects had been publicly identified.
In an effort to generate leads, Crime Stoppers has offered a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to the arrest of the individual or individuals responsible for Michael Moore's death. Authorities have urged anyone with information about the case to come forward and contact them. The case remains an unsolved murder.
