In a tragic turn of events at a Grenada, Mississippi factory, 38-year-old Lynn Mills lost her life in a violent workplace shooting. The incident unfolded in the early morning hours when her husband, 57-year-old Doug Mills, also an employee at the Heat Craft plant, began a deadly rampage.
Doug Mills first entered an office and fatally shot a shift supervisor, 47-year-old Calvin Woods. Following this, he located his wife, Lynn, in a bathroom within the facility. There, he shot her at least three times, inflicting fatal wounds. After killing his wife and his coworker, Doug Mills then turned the gun on himself, ending his own life.
According to the local sheriff, there was no information prior to the incident that would have suggested any trouble brewing between the three individuals. The motive behind the tragic murder-suicide remains unclear. The Heat Craft plant, a manufacturer of air conditioning components, was known as the largest employer in the town of Grenada.
