Beverly Black

On a tragic Saturday afternoon, January 16, 2021, the city of Grenada, Mississippi, recorded its first homicide of the year. Beverly Ann Black, a 50-year-old woman, was fatally shot on the 200 block of Spain Drive. Law enforcement, including officers from the Grenada Police Department and deputies from the Grenada County Sheriff's Department, responded to the scene, but Black succumbed to her injuries.
