In the early hours of Wednesday, March 11, 2026, the life of 17-year-old L'Zaiyah Jones was tragically cut short in Grenada, Mississippi. Around 1:46 a.m., Grenada Police officers were dispatched to the 300 block of South Levee Street following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Jones unresponsive, having sustained a gunshot wound.
