Joanne Phillips, aged 70, tragically lost her life on January 11, 2010, in Gulf Hills, Mississippi. The circumstances surrounding her death were both shocking and heartbreaking. Joanne, along with her husband Jimmy Phillips, was a victim of a double murder-suicide orchestrated by their son, Sammy Phillips. On that fateful day, Jimmy Phillips, who was 76 years old and paraplegic, was shot four times in the face, while Joanne Phillips was brutally beaten to death.
