In Leland, Mississippi, on the morning of September 20, 2018, 39-year-old Kimberly Renee Johnson was tragically killed in a violent encounter. Authorities were summoned to the 100 block of McGee Street around 11:30 a.m. following reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival, police officers discovered Johnson suffering from several gunshot wounds.
