An evening of youthful celebration turned into a scene of tragedy in Gulfport, Mississippi, leaving a family heartbroken and a community searching for answers. On September 7, 2013, 18-year-old Karol Annette Bolton was attending a party at the O'Neal Road Apartments. An aspiring nurse who had recently graduated from high school, she was furthering her education at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and was employed at a local movie theater.
