Sierra Jefferson, a 42-year-old resident of Gulfport, Mississippi, tragically passed away on August 10, 2017, after being shot by her husband, Jerome Verdell Jefferson. The incident occurred outside the Memorial Physicians Clinic where Sierra worked. On August 7, 2017, during an argument, Jerome shot Sierra and then drove himself to the Harrison County Jail to turn himself in.
