On an autumn day in Aberdeen, Mississippi, a domestic dispute tragically escalated, claiming the life of 59-year-old Robert Alan Mize. The fatal encounter occurred on October 3, 2014, at Mize's residence. The conflict began when Mize's son-in-law, Mickey Sudduth, arrived at the home to pick up his children for the weekend.
