In the small town of Aberdeen, Mississippi, a sense of unease settled over the community on March 17, 1991. On that day, 33-year-old Eric King Wilson, a Black / African American male and a respected officer with the Aberdeen Police Department, was found shot to death. His body was discovered inside his unmarked police car, a vehicle he often used for drug-related cases.
