In the early morning hours of Sunday, July 9, 2017, the body of 17-year-old LaQuinton Walker was discovered in a neighbor's yard on Lowndes Street in Aberdeen, Mississippi. The young man, a student at Aberdeen High School, had sustained a fatal gunshot wound. The Monroe County Coroner confirmed the cause of death and his body was subsequently sent to the Mississippi Forensics Laboratory for an autopsy.
