In the early morning hours of March 2, 2016, a dispute in Aberdeen, Mississippi, ended in the tragic death of 24-year-old Ronele Jones. The male victim was fatally shot at a residence on South Franklin Street. Investigators who were called to the scene around 5:30 a.m. found that Jones had sustained a single gunshot wound, which the Monroe County Coroner later confirmed as the cause of death.
