Orinthia Bailey, a 37-year-old resident of Natchez, Mississippi, was tragically found dead on December 21, 2014. The incident occurred on Itasca Drive, where police responded to a call from a nearby resident who reported hearing a loud gunshot. Upon arrival, officers discovered Bailey's body, marking the beginning of a homicide investigation.
