Antwan McBee, a 16-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on January 2, 2016, in the Woodlawn neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 4:45 p.m. while McBee was traveling in a vehicle in the 6300 block of South Stony Island Avenue. Another vehicle pulled up alongside and someone inside opened fire, hitting McBee in the head and shoulder.
