Joseph Burdine, a 24-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on March 19, 2015, in the Wrightwood neighborhood of Chicago, IL. The traditional gang rivalries had evolved into factions whose conflicts were often fueled by social media, bearing little resemblance to the organized gangs they claimed to be part of.
