Jacob "Jake" Williams Jr., a 17-year-old from Leland, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on July 1, 2015. Jake was a rising senior at Leland High School, where he was known for his athletic prowess in both football and baseball. On the night of his death, he was shot on a street in Leland. The Washington County Coroner, Methel Johnson, reported that Jake was shot in the upper left chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.
