Broderick Smith, a 36-year-old resident of Jackson, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on November 18, 2015, during a robbery at the O'Reilly Auto Parts store where he worked. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. when two armed men, dressed in dark clothing and hooded sweatshirts with bandannas partially covering their faces, entered the store and demanded that Smith open the safe.
