Lorenzo Gaston, a 27-year-old resident of Jackson, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on October 2, 2021. The incident occurred early in the morning near Livingston Road and Ridgeway Street. According to reports, Gaston informed officers that he had been robbed and assaulted. Upon his arrival at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC), doctors discovered that he had sustained a gunshot wound to the head.
