In the summer of 2024, a burst of violence cut short the life of 27-year-old Jerquarius Brown. On the evening of July 22nd, shots rang out in the 1700 block of Robinson Street in Jackson, Mississippi. When the sounds of the gunfire faded, Brown was found deceased at the scene. The Jackson Police Department was soon on the scene to begin the difficult task of piecing together the events of that fatal evening.
