Surrenda Davis Vaughn, a 35-year-old resident of Vicksburg, Mississippi, tragically lost her life on June 18, 2016. The incident was identified as a murder-suicide involving her husband, Edward Vaughn, aged 46. According to reports, law enforcement officials responded to a call at around 8:40 PM and discovered both Surrenda and Edward Vaughn dead in their home on Lakeside Drive. Both individuals had sustained gunshot wounds to the head, and a small caliber handgun was recovered at the scene.
