In the summer of 2016, a Vicksburg, Mississippi community was shaken by the tragic loss of Surrenda Davis Vaughn, a 35-year-old mother of four. On June 18th, what should have been an ordinary Saturday, ended in a devastating act of violence that claimed two lives and left a family shattered.
