Cort Gatlin, a 29-year-old resident of Summit, Mississippi, was tragically found dead on September 1, 2016. His body was discovered in the Bogue Chitto River, south of Alford's Bridge. Gatlin had been reported missing on August 26, 2016, which was also his birthday. The circumstances surrounding his death were particularly gruesome.
