On a tragic day in March 2017, the life of 23-year-old Kenya Campbell, a Black/African American female from Woodland, Mississippi, was cut short. On March 14, she and another 23-year-old, Kentario Boyd of Tupelo, were discovered deceased inside a vehicle on the side of Dixie Road in a rural area of Clay County. Both had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, and the scene was quickly determined to be a double homicide.
