In the early morning hours of January 2, 2024, police in Ellisville, Mississippi, were dispatched to a home on Dobson Street for a welfare check. Inside the residence, they made a grim discovery. The bodies of 33-year-old Nichole Coney and her 38-year-old husband, Terrance Coney, were found. Both had sustained fatal gunshot wounds in what investigators have described as an apparent murder-suicide stemming from domestic violence.
