On a summer morning in the Woolmarket community near Biloxi, Mississippi, a volatile domestic situation turned deadly, leaving a young man dead in the street. Jeremy Ryan Nilges, a 28-year-old male, was shot and killed on July 6, 2017. His death was the culmination of a troubled relationship with his ex-girlfriend, who was quickly identified as the suspect.
