In the late summer of 2023, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace of a Biloxi, Mississippi apartment complex, tragically ending the life of 20-year-old Damari Daniels, a Black male. On the evening of August 26th, police responded to reports of a shooting at the McDonnell Avenue Apartments.
