In the late hours of a Friday night in Biloxi, Mississippi, the life of 31-year-old Marcus Moore was tragically cut short. On November 10, 2023, gunshots echoed near the intersection of Esters Boulevard and Keller Avenue, prompting a police investigation that would soon uncover a grim scene. Responding to the reports of gunfire at approximately 11:30 p.m., officers discovered a trail of blood in the 500 block of Esters Boulevard, which led them to Moore's body. The Harrison County Coroner's Office confirmed that he had died from multiple gunshot wounds.
In the immediate aftermath of the shooting, the Biloxi Police Department was faced with a puzzling case with no immediate suspects. They appealed to the public for any information that could lead to the individuals responsible for Moore's death. For weeks, the investigation continued as detectives worked to piece together the events of that fatal night.
A significant breakthrough in the case came a little over a month later. On December 12, 2023, law enforcement officers arrested 27-year-old Tymos Davion Carter in Hattiesburg in connection with the murder. Carter was subsequently charged with murder and transported to the Biloxi Police Department. The investigation did not stop with Carter's arrest. Authorities also identified a second individual, Eddie Demetrius Baker, as a suspect in the shooting.
