In the spring of 2022, a wave of violence swept through the Mississippi Gulf Coast, leaving a trail of grief and unanswered questions. One of the lives tragically cut short in this senseless crime spree was that of Chad Steven Green, a 55-year-old male who worked and lived at the Broadway Inn Express in Biloxi. His death on April 27, 2022, was part of a quadruple homicide that stunned the local community.
The day's horrific events began to unfold at the Broadway Inn Express, a beachfront motel where Green was a familiar face. It was here that Jeremy Alesunder Reynolds, 32, embarked on a violent rampage. Green, along with two others at the motel, Mohammad “Mo” Moeini, the 51-year-old owner, and Laura Lehman, a 61-year-old property manager and Green's co-worker, were shot and killed by Reynolds. Following the shootings at the motel, Reynolds fled the scene and continued his violent spree. He traveled to nearby Gulfport, where he carjacked and killed a fourth victim, 52-year-old William Waltman, a contract employee for the city. As law enforcement surrounded the building, Reynolds set a fire inside.
