On May 30, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in the 2700 block of Fernwood Road in Biloxi, Mississippi, resulting in the death of 53-year-old Rodney Dabney, a resident of the apartment complex where the incident took place. According to the Harrison County coroner, Brian Switzer, Dabney succumbed to a single gunshot wound.
