A dispute over money at a Biloxi motel escalated into a tragic sequence of events that left multiple people dead, including 51-year-old Mohammad Moeini. On April 27, 2022, Moeini, the owner of the Broadway Inn Express, was shot and killed at his business on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Born in Iran, Moeini had been a resident of Gulfport for 25 years and was known as a hardworking businessman and a devoted family man.
