On a summer evening in Jackson, Mississippi, a young man's life was tragically cut short in an act of courage. Twenty-one-year-old Reginald Cammon was at the Forest Hill Park Apartments on August 21, 2017, when a violent dispute erupted between his mother and her boyfriend. In a selfless attempt to protect his mother, Cammon intervened, a decision that would prove fatal.
