In the coastal city of Gulfport, Mississippi, a life was tragically cut short on the evening of January 7, 2018. Bernard Kennedy, a 33-year-old Black male, was fatally shot at an intersection in the city. The Harrison County Coroner, Gary Hargrove, later confirmed Kennedy's identity as the victim of the shooting.
