In the late spring of 2024, a quiet, wooded area in Gulfport, Mississippi, became the scene of a tragic death. Fifty-year-old Kevin Edward Davis, a male resident of Gulfport, was found deceased on May 17, 2024. His body was discovered in a wooded area in the 2800 block of 33rd Avenue, a location known to have paths leading to homeless camps. An autopsy later confirmed that Davis had died from a gunshot wound.
