Navarro's brother, Miguel Navarro, confirmed that Manuel had longstanding issues with Yasmina, accusing her of making noise and damaging his property. Miguel also mentioned that Manuel had mental health issues and had previously threatened neighbors. Despite these threats and a prior incident where Manuel reported having a gun, no action was taken to confiscate the weapon.
The investigation by the Miami-Dade Police Department revealed that Yasmina was transported to Aventura Hospital & Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries. The case highlighted the tragic consequences of unresolved neighbor disputes and the potential dangers of untreated mental health issues.
