In a tragic turn of events stemming from a dispute over vehicle repairs, 40-year-old Emael Sims of Gulfport, Mississippi, lost his life. On a Monday afternoon in January 2022, what began as a disagreement escalated into a fatal shooting. Sims was shot multiple times and died at the scene on Jeff Road near Rippy Road.
