On February 12, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Gulfport, Mississippi, resulting in the death of 16-year-old Zaelyn Braxton. The Gulfport Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the early morning hours at a residence in the 16000 block of Kenwood Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered Braxton deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
