In the early morning hours of a December Sunday in Gulfport, Mississippi, the life of 23-year-old Shawn Taylor Jr. was tragically cut short. On December 2, 2018, the sound of gunfire pierced the quiet of the Orange Grove area, prompting a call to the Gulfport Police Department at approximately 2:34 a.m. When officers arrived at the scene on Klein Road, they made a grim discovery.
