In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Jackson, Mississippi, the promising life of 22-year-old Lonnie Montrel Taylor, a male known in the music world as the rapper 'Lil Lonnie,' was tragically cut short. On April 29, 2018, Taylor was driving his SUV on Montebello Drive with a female passenger when shots were fired into his vehicle. The gunfire caused him to lose control and crash into a nearby house. When authorities arrived at the scene, Taylor was pronounced dead. His passenger was unharmed.
