Evvie Williams, a 57-year-old woman, found her life tragically cut short during the brutal encounter on April 30, 2018. The front door of their home had been forcibly breached, signaling the start of a terrifying ordeal.
During the break-in, both Evvie and her 24-year-old daughter, Jaalyn, were shot. Despite her injuries, a wounded Evvie managed to flee to a neighbor's house, desperately seeking help.
