In the late hours of a Sunday in Holly Springs, Mississippi, the life of Edheldredge 'Happy' Balfour, a 27-year-old male, was brought to an abrupt and violent end. On March 24, 2019, Balfour was killed in what was described as a barrage of fire from an assault rifle on Martin Luther King Drive. The incident left another person critically injured. At the time of his death, Balfour was a father and was engaged to be married.
