Charles Edward Matthews, a 51-year-old self-employed handyman from Holly Springs, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on October 31, 2017. Matthews was found lying in the street outside his truck with apparent gunshot wounds. Despite paramedics' efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. in the area of Center Street and Falconer, shortly after Halloween trick-or-treating had concluded.
