Michael Smith, a 44-year-old resident of Holly Springs, Mississippi, was tragically killed on the morning of July 20, 2022. Smith, who worked as a manager at a local Dollar Tree, was found unresponsive outside his home on Craft Street. The Marshall County coroner confirmed that Smith had been shot once in the back at close range. His body was immediately taken to the state medical examiner’s office in Pearl for an autopsy.
