In the small community of Holly Springs, Mississippi, a dispute born from a tangled romance culminated in the tragic death of 36-year-old Jamie Shontae Stewart. On the evening of Saturday, January 25, 2014, what began as a disagreement between two men over a woman they were both involved with escalated into fatal violence. The male victim was at a friend's residence on Roberts Street when the altercation erupted, leading to a shooting that claimed his life.
